Reservations & Ticketing
Are reservations recommended?
We do recommend making advance reservations especially for travel during our peak summer season. Reservations can be made online, over the phone, or in one of our ticket offices.
Do I have to pay for my ticket when I make a reservation?
Yes, pre-payment in full is required to secure a reservation. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express.
Can I purchase tickets on the boat?
Purchasing tickets in advance is highly recommended. Tickets may be purchased at the vessel on the day of travel on a first come basis, however we cannot guarantee seating and availability.
Are there child rates?
Yes, for children 12 and under. Please see the regular and holiday child fares on the Martha’s Vineyard page.
Do you allow unaccompanied minors?
Due to the length of the trip, Seastreak reserves the right not to accept any passenger under the age of 16 years unless accompanied by an adult.
How do I obtain my tickets?
All tickets purchased online will be emailed to the email address provided at the time of purchase. All tickets purchased in person will be printed out at the time of purchase.
Is there a special discount for seniors?
No, we do not offer a senior discount on this trip.
What are the ticket office hours at Oak Bluffs, MA?
The Oak Bluffs ticket office is a seasonal port, and hours may vary. During peak season the ticket office is open Monday – Friday from 6:30 AM- 8:00 PM, and on Saturday- Sunday from 8:00 AM until 8:00 PM.
What if I need to change or cancel my reservation?
ALL TICKETS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE. Exchanges can be made for a fee prior to the intended date and time of departure. Once the boat has sailed, tickets are not exchangeable, and the value is forfeited; the ticket will be marked as a no show, and you will be required to make a new reservation. Any credits are valid for travel within the same calendar year as the original date of travel.
For passengers traveling from NYC/NJ to Martha’s Vineyard: Passengers who need to make changes to their reservations prior to departure will be charged a $40.00 service fee per ticket for a round trip and $20.00 for a one way.
If you are unable to travel on the date you reserved for, the reservation may be applied towards another reservation and any credit is valid through December 31st of the year of the original intended date of travel. Seastreak must be notified before your original travel date in order for your reservation to be honored at a later date.
