If you have any interest in world affairs, then UN Headquarters, located at 760 United Nations Plaza, is the place to be.

Just imagine being guided through the halls by some of the UN’s international staff, knowing that you’re walking the very same corridors as great presidents, chancellors, and diplomats.

It’s a way to be a part of the real deal and it’s just a convenient ferry ride away!

UN 1

Remember, to see the UN you’ll need to arrange a tour. This can be done here, and the entrance for guided tours is at 47th St. and 1st Ave. You can also access the Visitor Centre at 43rd St. and 1st Ave on weekends only.

The Places You’ll Go

Your trip starts with the iconic row of the flags of the 192 nations who are a part of the UN. This line of flags is so long it stretches all the way from 42nd Street to 48th, so bring your walking shoes!

You’ll also get to see the UN’s other iconic feature: the General Assembly Hall. Able to seat over 1,800 people, this room is where all the member states can meet, negotiate, and deal with any potential problems before they become serious.

Now if getting to see the General Assembly Hall isn’t a treat for a current affairs buff, I don’t know what is.

The Answers You’ll Get

During your tour of the UN building, you will be guided by one of the UN’s international staff, who will explain to you the details of the United Nations– what it is and how it works.

Visiting the United Nations is a chance like no other to get so close to global politics that you can reach out and touch them. And you can tell from the moment you arrive that you’re about to enter a world of power and luxury.

To make the experience complete, ride with us on Seastreak, and have that luxury on your trip, too.
