Gift giving inevitably presents its challenges, a common one is what on earth should I buy for *insert person here*? Set your mind at ease with a trip to The Union Square Holiday Market!  From November through Christmas, Union Square is transformed into an outdoor shopping center with heated boutiques filled to the brim with special items. Over 150 vendors, mostly local artisans, will be at your disposal. Its central location (14th street to 17th street between 4th Avenue and University Place) and easy access via subway make Union Square the perfect shopping destination.

There are so many vendors, the people behind the market have a booth of their own to better direct shoppers and answer any questions. Give yourself time at the shops and make a day of it, because it can take you a good few hours to check out all the goods!

Some of the items you’ll find include:

Gorgeous handmade jewelry

Ties, cuff links and other men’s fashion items

Brew your own beer kits

Luxurious truffle salts, olive oils and vinegars

Local, handmade leather belts

Chic bags, scarves, tights and shoes

Stylish dog leashes and pet accessories

Holiday themed crafts and decorations

If all the shopping gets you tired, multiple food vendors are present serving up warm and delicious seasonal food.

At the end of the day, who wants to schlep shopping bags on a train ride home? Let us take you to and from the city in style and comfort on our gorgeous boats with open seating, plenty of room for belongings and a stocked cash bar. The Holiday Market is open 7 days a week, so check out our schedule from NJ to NYC for the most convenient time for you to head there. Don’t forget, kid 12 and under ride free!
