Is your kid a fan of superheroes, or are you a discerning comic book collector yourself?  Either way, experience a little bit of that Marvel magic come to life at Spiderman: Turn off the Dark, and see how Spiderman came to be!

The musical follows Peter Parker, a nerdy kid from Queens who just couldn’t catch a break. Peter was always a little bit nerdy, and never had much luck with the ladies, especially when it came to the girl next door, Mary Jane.  Little did he know that one school trip would change his life forever.

Described as a rock musical, this production boldly goes where comic books have never before ventured.  Behind the scenes is director Julie Taymor, who also directed Broadway’s smash hit, The Lion King.  The strong rock music vibe shouldn’t come as a surprise since U2’s Bono and Edge were behind both the music and lyrics for Spiderman.

Spiderman: Turn off the Dark is a treat for audiences young and old, and breaks ground with its fantastic performances and unique sound.  It’s the perfect way to celebrate a special occasion, For more information and to buy tickets click here!
