If you want to impress your friends and coworkers, there’s a few guaranteed ways to do it. Tell them you spent the weekend in your Swiss chalet. (This only works if you actually have a Swiss chalet. Showing pictures you got off the internet lacks cool factor.) Explain how you went for a sail on your yacht. (Or better, tell them you rode a Seastreak ferry. That’ll make you look like a star.) Or you could mention how you went to a wine tasting! Namely, the NYC Spring Wine Festival. It’s happening on May 9 at the Broad Street Ballroom! (41 Broad Street.)

NYC Spring Wine Festival 1

Two Sessions of Food and Wine

The NYC Spring Wine Festival takes place over two sessions: one from 3 PM to 6 PM, and one from 8 PM to 11 PM. This gives you two great opportunities to attend this terrific event. Wine lovers, or those who are curious to learn more about the wines available for their enjoyment, may discover this event’s exactly what they’ve been waiting for.

You’ll be able to taste more than 200 wines from all over the world at the sampling tables, from reds to whites to unique blends. Since a wine tasting wouldn’t be the same without delicious food, you’ll have snacks like flatbread with smoked mozzarella and asparagus, lemon orrechiette pasta with sugar snaps, wild mushrooms, and shaved parmesan, and a variety of charcuterie.

All That Jazz

While you’re sipping your wines and eating your snacks, acclaimed jazz saxophonist Art Sherrod Jr. will perform with his band. At the end of the night, you’ll be able to take over a commemorative wine glass to remember your evening.

Seastreak offers you the most comfortable ferry ride, with indoor and outdoor seats, a cash bar, and excellent customer service! Find out why we’re Manhattan’s favorite ferry service.

Sea you soon!
