If you’re looking to experience some of art’s greatest practitioners in one of the few environments qualified to showcase such magnificence, look no further than The Frick. Established in 1935, The Frick Collection is housed inside one of New York’s last remaining Gilded Age mansions. Its works of art blend with the opulent architecture to create an effect that must be experienced to be believed.

Enlightenment and Beauty

One of The Frick’s current exhibitions, Enlightenment and Beauty: Sculptures by Houdon and Clodion, centers on the work of these two French sculptors, and their contributions to art in France during the Enlightenment.

The Frick has brought together for the first time a great variety of works from these two sculptors, allowing the viewer to see the versatility and range which they possessed.

Presented in the dazzling beams of natural light that fill The Frick’s Portico Gallery, make sure you see this exhibit before it leaves on April 5th, 2015.
