If you asked a group of people what their favorite sweet is, we guarantee many would vote chocolate. It’s decadent and rich. It’s unique. It’s scientifically proven to make you happier. How can you resist?   Here are a few of our favorite chocolate shops in New York.

Jacques Torres Chocolate – With locations throughout the city, and a factory in Brooklyn, city goers are no strangers to Jacques Torres.  Its convenient Rockefeller Center location makes getting a sweet treat easy for visitors who want to see it all.  All of the chocolate is made by Jacques Torres and his team, so every piece is just as delicious as the last.

Neuhaus Chocolates – For over 150 years this European chocolatier has been creating decadent confections, and now they’re here in New York City.  If you’re in the mood for something luxurious, but a little more vanilla, try their Manon Sucre.  It’s made of buttercream and sugar, and is one of their specialties along with their chocolate bark.
