Lincoln Center is abuzz with all the busy bees watching, photographing and walking in fall’s clothes. In other words, it’s Mercedes Benz Fashion Week!  While we wish we could offer you a package deal of transportation to and from NYC with a front row seat next to Anna Wintour thrown in, sadly we can’t.

We can, however, suggest you hop over to the city to check out the myriad fashion week pop-up shops.  Pop-up shops are temporary spaces that offer a store experience for brands you wouldn’t otherwise have the opportunity to interact with.

Showcasing the work of local independent designers like Dirty Librarian Chains and online eco-boutique Helpsy, seize this rare opportunity to meet the faces behind the brands. Ask them questions, try on the products and leave feeling special, because it’s only open until February 18th.

Shipley + Halmos

Cool men’s clothing brand Shipley + Halmos are taking up space downtown on Canal street until February 23rd with witty tee-shirts and pieces from their collaboration with Vans. The store makes fun of Canal Street culture with signs in the window that boast “I went to Canal Street and all I got was mugged”, but don’t be fooled by the nonchalance – their fashion is serious. Find luxe staples like button downs in easy prints and a special capsule collection sure to delight any man with fashion sense.

Of course, Lincoln Center is always open for hanging out and ogling the street style of show-goers. There’s paparazzi galore this week, and for good reason! The most creative people of the universe in one city at the same time only happens twice a year, so whether you want inspiration or just an addition to your wardrobe, hop on Seastreak and let us take you there like a VIP.

Sea you soon,

The Seastreak Family
