The Ailey Extension

Alvin Ailey was a renowned choreographer who really put African dance on the map.  While his legacy lives on at the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, beginners can experience a bit of what makes Alvin Ailey and African dance so special at the Ailey Extension.  They offer traditional classes like ballet and tap, as well as Middle Eastern and African dancing.
