MARTHA'S VINEYARD SERVICE
THURSDAY, SEPT. 2:
Please note that the NJ/NY Martha's Vineyard ferry will operate as scheduled on Thursday, September 2, 2010.  The impending hurricane conditions are not due to impact our area until Friday day time and will move offshore by Saturday morning.  The current marine forecast is predicting a widely spaced ground swell in the areas of Block Island Sound and Rhode Island Sound.

Please note:  This type of sea condition may cause some discomfort for those who are prone to motion sickness.

Return trips from the Vineyard to NJ/NY will sail as scheduled.
 
FRIDAY, SEPT. 3:
Due to the forecasted high winds and accompanying high seas, we must unfortunately cancel the Friday, September 3rd trip from NJ/NY to Martha's Vineyard.

We will be issuing refunds automatically for all passengers originally scheduled to sail on this trip, and they will all be processed by the end of business Thursday.

Return trips from the Vineyard to NJ/NY on Monday, September 6th will sail as scheduled.

If you are able to travel to the Vineyard by some other means this weekend, and wish to maintain your Monday return reservation on our ferry, we will leave that Monday return reservation intact.

Your name will remain on the Monday return trip manifest, despite our refunding you for the ticket.  We will simply re-charge the credit cards, of those that show up for the return trip, for the $105 return ticket.  This will happen at the time of passenger check-in for the pick-up of boarding passes.  Only those passengers that show-up in person and receive their Monday return boarding pass will be charged for the $105.

SeaStreak is aware of the parking conditions at our Conner's Terminal and we are taking additional measures to alleviate the congestion.  We will have additional staff on hand during the morning rush to direct traffic and we will be working with Sunset Valet to make additional parking spaces available.
 
 

Although parking is free at all SeaStreak New Jersey locations, should you need to leave your car for more than 48 hours please know that you may do so only at the municipal lot on Shore Drive in Highlands, at our Sandy Hook Bay Marina parking lot or you may make arrangements with Sunset Valet.   We reserve the right to tow (at owner's expense) any cars left for more than 48 hours in our Highlands Parking lot.
