Football season is right around the corner. Time to warm up your vocal cords for yelling at blind referees and cheering at epic touchdowns! It’s also time to pick out your favorite haunts for chowing down while you catch the games. If you’re looking for a good place in Manhattan to grab a pint, make a stop in at Beckett’s Bar and Grill! They’re at 81 Pearl Street, less than half a mile from Pier 11.

The Sports Bar of Stone Street

Beckett’s Bar and Grill has been welcoming sports fans for more than 15 years at their two-story pub. The building’s been around even longer than that. It dates back to 1603, and even housed the first printing press in New York City. These days, it houses 24 television screens, so you won’t miss a play. Not even if you’re outside! Beckett’s has outdoor seating available until the end of November, and four televisions face outside so everyone gets a good view.

You won’t go hungry while you’re complaining about that flag on the play. Beckett’s offers up a menu full of delicious meals and tasty snacks. You can find traditional pub fare, like bangers and mash, or you can fill up on really unique dishes. How does BBQ pulled pork mac and cheese sound?

Tuesday Night Lights

Never been to Beckett’s? Now’s the perfect time to try it. Until September 30, you can take advantage of the Lower Manhattan Tuesdays special, and get a burger with a pint of Guinness (or any draft beer) for $20. Don’t miss out!

Nine out of ten entirely fictional experts agree, the best cure for a rotten day or a busy week is kicking back with a drink and a game. (We don’t talk about the tenth entirely fictional expert. He’s a quack.) Relax on a Seastreak ferry as you head to Manhattan to watch the game. Our ferry captains see better than any NFL referee, guaranteed.

Sea you soon!
